How come Jasper and Alice can use their vampire powers on Bella?

Jasper can change Bella's mood as seen on New moon. Alice has been seeing future events of Bella in all movies.How come Jasper and Alice can use their vampire powers on Bella?
Alice and Jasper's power act on real things whereas Edward, Jane and Aro's powers work within the mind. Alice doesn't see people's decisions, what she sees is their outcomes in reality. Similarly Jasper doesn't exactly work on people's emotions, but on their symptoms in the body (heart rate, endorphins, and so on). Bella is only impervious to the invasion of her mind.
"Edward or Aro can't acess Bella's mind cuz' their powers work mentally and Jasper's powers work emmotionally. So basically, Edward or Aro can only work from people's minds and that is where Bella's power resides, but Jasper's power is able to work with emmotions that come from the heart. So is power is not mental, it's emmotional. So that's why Bella's shield doesn't work with Jasper's power.

Emotions are physical and her shield is mental."

Jasper and Alice can use their powers on Bella becaus they are not invading her mind. That's why Edward, Aro and Jane can't use their powers on her because they hve to invade her mind Jane can't use her power of Bella because she's makes people THINK that they are in pain when they are not etc and Bella has that shield thingy.





It's something like that. It says in the book I think been ages since I read them lol.

Bella's shield is only for her mind. While powers such as Edward's, Jane's, and Aro's effect the mind, powers including Jasper's and Alice's do not. Their powers effect her body and manipulate her surroundings but never disrupt her mind.How come Jasper and Alice can use their vampire powers on Bella?
It doesn't have to do with invading/ changing her mind. I guess changing her mood has to dowith her heart...
